Directions
To use our Elderberry Elixir as a preventative, give 1 tbs per day to adults or 1 tsp per day to children.
At the first sign of illness, give give 1 tbs every 2-3 hours, for children, give 1 tsp every 2-3 hours.

What is elderberry elixir and what is it used for?
Our elderberry elixir is a rich, herbal blend made from elderberries, raw honey, and warming spices. Traditionally used tohelpthe body fight off coughs, colds, and flu, it’s also packed with natural antioxidants and vitamin C to support everyday immunity and wellbeing.
How do I take it, and how much should I use?
For daily support, take:
- Adults – 1 tablespoon (15ml) once a day
- Children over 1 – 1 teaspoon (5ml) once a day
If you’re feeling under the weather, you can take your usual amount every 2–3 hours for a few days.
Can children and pregnant people take it?
Our elixir contains raw honey, so it’s not suitable for babies under 1 year.
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, we always recommend checking with your midwife or GP before starting herbal supplements.
How should I store it, and how long will it last?
Keep your elixir in the fridge once opened. It’s best enjoyed within 8–12 weeks, but you can also freeze portions to extend the shelf life. Just pour into ice cube trays and defrost as needed!
Why isn’t it thick like shop-bought syrups?
Because we don’t add artificial thickeners or gums. What you’re getting is a natural, plant-based tonic made by hand in small batches - so the texture stays true to the ingredients.
Can I use it preventatively, or only when I’m sick?
You can absolutely take it daily as a gentle immune support, especially through autumn and winter. But many people also find it helpful to increase the dose if they’re starting to feel run down.
